‘Beginners Workshop’
we are offering a ‘Beginners Workshop’ on Saturday, 5th April 2025 from 11.00am to 3.00pm for anyone who needs help starting out in family history or who needs a fresh perspective on an area of research. It will take place in the JPK Hall, Church Street, Old Town (opposite St Mary’s Church). There is limited parking on site but it is on bus routes 1 & 1A or Brighton Bus 12 & 12A. You are welcome to stay for the whole period or just drop in to ask advice from other Family Roots members for a particular research query. WiFi will be available. Hot and cold refreshments will be available at the hall for a donation, but we recommend you bring a packed lunch if staying for the whole session. Entry fees: £1 for members, £3 for visitors.
